Practice Owner. Stephen has been practicing Chiropractic for 17 years having graduated from Macquarie University (Masters of Chiropractic) & University of Queensland (Bachelor Science - Anatomy). Stephen is a Highfields local where his family have been active in the Community for the last 25 years. Stephen is a country person at heart and spends his spare time on his cattle property just outside of Highfields.
Stephen cares for patients of all ages and has a special interest in Acute/Chronic Pain & Sport Injuries. Stephen’s goals are to optimize performance and recovery of the patient. Stephen’s career objective is to empower people to make positive health choices in their day to day lives.
Shaun has a 10 year history within the Highfields community as the original owner of Crossfit Highfields. He has an extensive history in the health, fitness and rehab industry previously working as a personal trainer and strength and conditioning coach before becoming a chiropractor. His passion for helping people leads Shaun to always be expanding his knowledge and skill base with courses such as Dry needling, Syntropy adjusting techniques and a Functional Heath and Movement Mentorship just to name a few.
All of these skills sees Shaun use a multimodal approach when helping his patients - these include chiropractic adjustments, mobilisations, soft tissue techniques, dry needling, lifestyle education and exercise advice.
Dr Shaun Collins will be accepting appointments Monday mornings for the months of November & December
Robert graduated in 1990 from Macquarie University with a Master of Chiropractic degree and prior, a Bachelor of Science in Anatomy and Physiology from NSW University. He continued his professional development, completing a Postgraduate qualification in sports Chiropractic in 1994. He ran his own practices for 32 years, before moving to Toowoomba in 2023.
Rob has been involved with athletes of all levels, from local club sports to players at elite professional levels. Whilst Rob enjoys working with athletes, he also enjoys working with people of all ages and walks of life and wants to get to know his patients as more than just a condition. He enjoys working with patients to achieve their desired health goals and provides solid evidence based care for all.
Corrie received her Diploma of Remedial Massage at the end of 2022, after studying at TAFE Toowoomba. I enjoy helping, interacting and working with people to address musculoskeletal conditions using assessments and a variety of remedial massage techniques.
Corrie is a member of Massage and Myotherapy Australia and holds current First Aid and CPR qualifications. Corrie is committed to continued professional learning to enhance knowledge and skills, and in the future, Corrie intends to undertake further study to attain qualifications in additional modalities to support treating a broader range of conditions.
Tash is our Clinic Manager here at Highfields Chiropractic. Whilst making sure everything flows seamlessly for the clinic, Tash also thoroughly enjoys spending time chatting with our patients and helping to forge a supportive, compassionate and friendly environment, so the clinic feels like a second home every time you visit. Away from the clinic, Tash enjoys keeping fit and values time spent with her husband and 4 children.
Melian is one of our Chiropractic Assistants and another friendly face within our reception team here at Highfields Chiropractic, whom you’ll find in the clinic on Fridays and throughout the year covering staff leave.
Melian is a Highfields local who loves a chat and has a thorough and broad knowledge in Allied Health, which allows our patients to feel relaxed and comfortable at all times. Away from the clinic, Melian enjoys being a Dance Teacher and values time spent with her husband and 2 children.
